The Law of the Loop: How God Restores His Creation

Scripture shows that God’s plan of salvation is complete and purposeful. From Genesis to Revelation, He works to restore what was broken and bring heaven and earth together.

The Lord’s Prayer says, “Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). This points to God’s desire to transform people from the inside, not merely place rules over them.

Jeremiah 31:33 says, “I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts.” Under the Old Covenant, God’s law was written on stone. Through Jesus Christ, God brings His law into the hearts of His people.

The death and resurrection of Jesus are central to this restoration. His sacrifice pays the debt of sin, and His resurrection confirms God’s promise. The water and blood from His side point to cleansing, baptism, communion, and the birth of the Church.

First John 5:6-8 speaks of three witnesses: the Spirit, the water, and the blood. These witnesses show God’s work in the world and in His people.

This story reaches its fulfillment in Revelation. The curse of the first garden is reversed, the Lamb’s wedding feast takes place, and God comes to live with His people. Heaven and earth are united, and creation is filled with God’s presence.

Romans 1:20 reminds us that God’s power can be seen through everything He has made. From creation to restoration, Scripture reveals God’s plan to redeem and renew all things.
