1. Redemption is not about becoming a better version of ourselves. It means surrendering our old life and becoming more like Jesus Christ.

2. Redemption changes us from the inside out. God gives believers a new nature and the ability to live a new life.

3. Conversion and redemption are different. Conversion means turning away from an old lifestyle. Redemption is God’s work in us through Jesus Christ.

4. The Holy Spirit shows us our need for God. When we recognize our sin, Christ gives us forgiveness and new life.

5. Redemption is a complete work of grace. We cannot save ourselves; we receive new life through faith in Jesus Christ.
