LET’S GET REAL About Redemption

1. Anti-Self-Realization: which is a highly discussed topic among believers in our society today though are actions we prioritize in our life’s. This topic is highly critical trend for seeking "self-realization" or self-actualization. I want to point out that the Gospel does not exist to help human beings develop their existing potential or become "better versions of themselves". The Death of Self: Redemption requires a person to be completely identified with the death of Jesus Christ, which means the absolute destruction of their right to themselves. Christ's Purpose: the bible states all throughout it : "Our Lord’s teaching is always anti-self-realization. His purpose is not the development of a man; His purpose is to make a man exactly like Himself."

2. The "Moral Miracle" of a New Nature I want to bring to surface that redemption is not just God overlooking our badness, but God actually making us good by implanting a totally new disposition. Supernatural Re-creation: Redemption brings about a "moral miracle" where God places the very hereditary disposition of Jesus Christ into a believer. The Quote: "The moral miracle of Redemption is that God can put into me a new disposition whereby I can live a totally new life."

3. Redemption vs. Simple Conversion. Let’s make a sharp theological distinction between "conversion" and "redemption. “Conversion is a human act—the turning away from an old lifestyle. Redemption is entirely a divine act received from God.  Many Christians stop at conversion, modifying their outward behavior without ever truly receiving the supernatural, transformative power of the Cross.

4. It Creates the Need, it Satisfies. Creating the Need it Satisfies, Human beings naturally think they are moral and don't need God. Awakening the Soul: It is the Holy Spirit, acting on the basis of Christ's redemption, who creates an inner hunger and awareness of sin where none existed before. Satisfaction: Once God creates that supernatural need within a person, nothing in the universe can satisfy it except the very cross of Christ that sparked it.

5. The Sole Basis of God's Action on redemption: God does not answer prayers or forgive sins because we feel deeply sorry or perform religious duties. "God answers prayer on the ground of Redemption and on no other ground." Relying on our own repentance or tears is, “trampling on the blood of the Son of God." Reinstatement with God is a gift of the atonement that must be humbly accepted as a broken sinner .
